Letter reads as: On behalf of the Soledad Community Health Care District Foundation, I am excited to extend to you the opportunity to participate in our annual Mother's Day Amish Quilt Fundraiser. Your generosity and support have been instrumental in our past successes, and we are grateful for your continued partnership in our mission to provide exceptional care to our community. Our objective this year is to raise $45,000 to purchase 22 additional beds and mattresses for our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As you may recall, our recent Gift of Light Campaign, which concluded at the end of 2023, was a tremendous success thanks to donors like you. With the funds raised, we were able to acquire six specialty beds and mattresses for residents at our Eden Valley Care Center, enhancing their quality of life in meaningful ways. This year, we are honored to present "Dancing Star," a stunning Amish quilt meticulously crafted by Ruth Flaud, a master quilter with three decades of experience. Each stitch reflects her dedication to her craft, and we are privileged to offer this exquisite piece to one lucky supporter. This beautiful item has been generously donated by Jo Ann Moline and Diane Jansen. Additionally, we are excited to feature a 16” X 24” framed photograph titled “Ciao Lugano,” captured in Switzerland and donated by Jo Ann Moline. Your participation in our mail-in drawing not only offers you the chance to win these remarkable prizes but also directly contributes to the vital services we provide at the Soledad Medical Clinic, the Women's Health Center, and the Eden Valley Care Center. Enclosed you will find mail-in drawing tickets priced at $10 each or 6 for $50, with the assurance that your gift is tax-deductible. The drawing will take place on Friday, May 10th, at the Eden Valley Care Center, and winners need not be present. We deeply appreciate your consideration and steadfast support of the Soledad Community Health Care District Foundation. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve, embodying the spirit of compassion and community. Thank you for your generosity, and we look forward to celebrating our shared commitment to care and compassion for our community and beyond. Sincerely, Jo Ann Moline, President Board of Trustees: Jo Ann Moline, Rosemary Guidotti, Pauline Tomasini, Martha Zarate, Maria Barajas, Elizabeth Ortiz
